Free Enterprise Forum
Free Enterprise Forum
Does capitalism still work? More people are asking that question than ever before—and a rising generation isn't sure of the answer. Yet no economic system in history has lifted more people out of poverty, generated more innovation, or created more opportunity than capitalism. The challenge is not in the promise of capitalism. It is in the failure to extend that promise far enough—to open the doors, share the knowledge, and provide the networks that allow people to step through. The new Institute for Free Enterprise at the VCU School of Business exists to change that. And we're launching not with an argument, but with proof.
When every investor in America walked away from Ashley Stewart—a twice-bankrupt, 200-location fashion retailer with deep roots in Black communities—James Rhee walked in. No money. No credit. By every conventional measure, no chance. What followed was one of the most improbable turnarounds in modern American business, powered by a formula Rhee calls Kindness and Math. On September 9, Rhee, author of the #1 national bestseller Red Helicopter, takes the Altria Theater stage with Roben Farzad, host of Full Disclosure, for the inaugural Free Enterprise Forum—not a lecture on business or economics, but the story of what happens when someone bets everything on people and wins. Be in the room for the first night of a conversation Richmond will be having for years. Save your seat.

We offer two types of receivers, and stock enough of each type to meet ADA requirements according to the percentage of audience capacity. The receivers we distribute most often are the stethoset variety, which includes integrated earbud-style transducers, and are worn like a stethoscope.
We also offer pendant or necklace receivers, which come on their own lanyard and feature a 3.5mm (1/8") connector, which is the standard headphone connection found on smartphones, iPods, ADA ATM cash machines, etc. We can provide these pendant receivers with inductive neck loops, which allow compatibility with T-Coil hearing aids. These receivers are also compatible with cochlear implants featuring 3.5mm Direct Audio Input, personal headphones, or any other device that has a 3.5mm audio input.
